Cracks easily

I finished painting, and began sanding In my garage, when I dropped it on the concrete floor. “No big deal” I thought, picking it up, when I turned it over and found 2 large gouges in the corners it dropped on. I decided to leave immediately, being thoroughly disappointed with the brittleness. I dropped it from about 4 feet.
