The icehouse was a popular new addition for the town's sole tavern, allowing game meats and perishable items to be kept longer. Obviously, this meant a higher premium and new means to separate adventurers from some of their coin, the tavern's keeper chuckled to themselves.

Problem was, ever since they had dug the well deep into the rock, several strange events began to occur. At first it was the occasional tremor or odd sounds. Then, it became serious with the disappearance of one of the cleaning staff... and even more serious still when the barkeep went missing. Strange lights were reported but not confirmed.
